What is wellness and can I buy it on ebay?

What is wellness?

It's such a general term - that is thrown around so much...it's easy to confuse it with so many other generic concepts!
We have been on a quest over the past several years to discover wellness in day-to-day living...being raised completely mainstream...we did not feel comfortable jumping into hourly wheat grass consumption and swearing off all personal products..we didn't want to go extreme...but rather make small adjustments and tweaks to our everyday lives...thus our wellness evolution!

We decided that wellness is absolutely based in the power of 3...
Mind, Body and Spirit

MIND = the most powerful tool we have at our disposal...individually we all weld it on ourselves in a positive and negative way...everything from the Pity-Party Self Talk to the uplifting soar of a belly laugh! The mind is a HUGE element in wellness!

BODY = this is probably the most obvious component...everywhere you look - especially in advertising you are presented with airbrushed images of 'perfection'...(future rant on this forthcoming) but the wellness that is 'preventitive health' such as exercise, eating right and just thinking of your body as a finely tuned machine - (we may not be Lance Armstrong)...but we can be our best selves - ever! Spa treatments are not only a treat..but really a great way to maintain balance for your body...and who doesn't enjoy spa treatments! Much more to come on spa treatments and tips! Aaaaahhh

Spirit= It really doesn't matter what you believe...as long as you believe in something other than yourself...a professor once told me that was his theory of why most people enjoyed visiting the shore...was that they became intensely aware "that life did not evolve around them"...and that's such a relief on so many levels!
Modern Meditation is a great form of a time out...one of the master teachers I enjoy, has stated that praying is like talking with God...whereas meditation is like listening. Nice!

This blog hopefully will touch on all aspects of wellness - in the most casual way possible - which of course includes movie quotes thrown in for good measure!
Relax & Enjoy Wellness!

Waiting with baited-breath for "...airbrushed images of 'perfection'...(future rant on this forthcoming)..."
